Karolina Serafin studied scenography and media arts at the University of Arts and Design Karlsruhe. In 2010 she co-founded the performance collective Mobile Freundschaft. After graduating with an award-winning video installation starring cows in 2013, she started working as a freelance video artist for theatre, opera and dance productions and has enjoyed being DOP for several independent film projects and music videos. She also produced two short documentaries about theatre projects with teenagers. Together with Isabella Sedlak she founded the artist collective KISS last year. Her work is based somewhere in the fields of video, film, sound and installation.
