Niklas has a Masters degree in film theory and currently working at the Deutsche Kinemathek in Berlin as a database and systems manager, as well as the head cataloguer for the film archive. During his studies, he discovered his affection for video editing and since then he has worked and collaborated on multiple projects: from music videos to short documentaries as well as fictional films. Niklas loves telling stories through editing, finding the rhythm and musicality of a scene and elevating the narrative through all the tools available. He draws inspiration from all the amazing people in his life as well as the hundred carefully curated films and TV shows he consumes every day.
