You might think it’s easier to write a ten page play. At the end of the day how many mistakes can you make in such a short amount of time? A lot. So many you’d think you’ve never written a single word in your life. Shorter doesn’t mean easier on any level. At the same time with any limitation in the theatre there is immense creative freedom.
If you’re new to playwriting and want to practice playwriting there is no better way than to learn how to write a 10-minute play.
In this workshop we will discuss what makes a great ten minute play and then through a series of writing prompts get you started writing yours.
